october has come & gone...

without a single post from me. & as sad as that makes me, i'm not dwelling. i haven't forgotten you & in fact have a lot of things to share! but please be patient with me while i collect my thoughts & mourn the passing of autumn.

it's that time of year again...

to celebrate punctuation! tomorrow, september 24 is national punctuation day & studio stl is throwing a mad awesome party.

punctuate, if you remember from last year, is a fun & silly event that raises a little money to help studio stl get kids excited about writing...& to get them published!

this year the event is at the city museum in st louis...what a fantastic venue! if you're in or around town & looking for something to do tomorrow evening, i would love to see you there. i'll even buy you a question mark-arita!

in case you didn't know...

i have a tumblr.

over the past year i've been experimenting with different ways to catalog my favorite images. pretty little things that tickle my visual fancy...things that i want to be able to find easily but don't necessarily want to blog. turns out laura tumbles is the perfect place for me to do just that.

as much as i love blogging on blogger, using tumblr is just so easy! much quicker posting with that convenient little 'share on tumblr' button...so much quicker, in fact, that i actually did a fair amount of posting over the summer (while it was so lonely & quiet here).

so you should head over & check out my archives...some of the images will look familiar, some will be new...but i'm sure you'll find something to enjoy!

hello again!

i hope you've all had a lovely & relaxing summer.
my summers, as many of you know, are filled with chants & cheers, bumps & bruises, crafts & canoes...a little something i like to call summer camp.

i've had a wonderful, wonderful summer but i've missed posting dearly. thankfully, things are winding down & hopefully i'll be back to regular posting soon!
